Diamond Springs Real Estate

Diamond Springs is small town 45 minutes from Sacramento stretching over Highways 49 and 50. It was settled in 1848 and named for its crystal clear springs. Today it’s a registered California Historical Landmark and is most notable for its gold-rich mining, once producing a 25-pound nugget, the largest ever in El Dorado County.

Nestled at the base of the foothills, the town is comprised of small neighborhoods and ranches amidst open lands and lush landscapes. A number of creeks run through the area while various lakes, including Patterson Lake, make for ideal fishing spots. Placerville is just 10 minutes away while South Lake Tahoe is just over an hour away. Outdoor recreation abounds throughout the area.
